Our Team

Drh Novita studied veterinary medicine at Airlangga University in Surabaya, East Java. After graduating in 2009 she worked at Vitapet Animal Clinic in Jakarta, and in June 2012 she moved to Bali to join Sunset Vet Kuta. She has since completed postgraduate courses in clinical pathology, ultrasonography, gastroenterology, acupuncture and dentistry. Drh Novita is the Head Veterinarian at Sunset Vet Kuta and is known for her wonderful bedside manner.

Drh. Wirsa holds a doctorate in veterinary science from Udayana University (2009). She started her career at the Bali Animal Welfare Association as part of their rabies vaccination team and subsequently as one of their clinic vets. She did further clinical training at Vetwest clinic in Perth, Australia, and gained further surgical experience at Lanta Animal Welfare in Thailand before joining Sunset Vet in early 2012. Drh. Wirsa has special interests in diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation medicine and dentistry. She is a huge animal lover and gets particularly excited whenever there is a dog or cat giving birth in the clinic!

Drh. Steven graduated from Airlangga University, Surabaya in 2014 with the prestigious award of best vet student. During his studies he was also a keen volunteer for Surabaya Animal Care, helping street dogs and cats and also freelancing at Octopussy Vet Clinic. At Airlangga University he was an assistant lecturer in histology for 3 years so is highly competent with a microscope. Drh Steven has special interests in clinical pathology, the fusion of Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture and oncology.

Drh Wilson graduated from Udayana University's veterinary faculty in March 2015, and after an internship joined the Sunset Vet team at our Kuta branch. Drh Wilson's main clinical interests are soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, but he is most loved by clients for his bedside manner and compassionate approach to his patients. Outside of the clinic he is a keen futsal player and coach.

Drh. Vivie graduated as a vet from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta in December 2014. She subsequently joined Bettie veterinary clinic and surgery, Miri, Malaysia and then in 2016 moved to Bali and joined Anom Veterinary Clinic in Sanur. In December 2021 she joined the Sunset Vet Kuta team. Her clinical interests are dermatology, ultrasonography and soft tissue surgery whilst her hobbies outside the clinic are volleyball & crocheting.

Drh Ratih graduated as a vet from Udayana University in 2017, and joined Sunset Vet Ubud as an intern. She later went on to join Sunset Vet Kuta permanently as a junior veterinarian. Drh Ratih's clinical interests are ophthalmology, dermatology, soft tissue surgery and rehabilitation medicine. She has also recently completed courses in haematology and feline internal medicine.

Drh. Tika graduated as a vet from Gadjah Mada University, Jogjakarta in 2018. Her first role was as an assistant in the Veterinary Public Health Laboratory but she realised then that her calling was small animal practice. In 2019 she joined Sunset Vet Kuta first as an intern and then later as a Junior Veterinarian. Her main interests are internal medicine and dermatology.

Drh Tania graduated from Udayana University in February 2021, and then interned at Sunset Vet Kuta to gain experience. She quickly realised her career passion would be in small animal medicine and joined the vet team full time in October 2021. Beside her love of animals, she also loves travel and is an ardent foodie.

Drh. Erlin originates from Sumba and graduated as a vet from Udayana University in 2020. She joined the Sunset Vet internship program at our Kuta Animal Hospital, joining the vet team full time in November 2022. Drh. Erlin's main interests are internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Her dream is to also one day move into equine medicine.

Drh. Christopher graduated as a vet from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta in 2023. During his studies he worked in pharmacology and toxicology as a Lab Assistant, and also also took a part time job at Soeparwi Animal Hospital, Yogyakarta. His main interests are veterinary internal medicine, soft tissues surgery and fish medicine. During his free time he enjoys singing and swimming.

Drh. Gunawati ('Guna') graduated from Udayana University in February 2021. Her first job as a veterinarian was at Santi Vet Care in Denpasar; she later joined Sunset Vet as an intern, and in February 2023 joined the Kuta vet team full time. Her primary interest is soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.

Drh. Siti ('Tia') graduated Cum Laude from Udayana University in December 2023. During her studies she was an assistant lecturer in histology and anatomy. In April 2023 she joined the Sunset Vet Kuta team and her main interests are cardiology, clinical pathology and diagnostic imaging.

Drh. Flora graduated Magna Cum Laude from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta in December 2023. Shortly after graduation she join Sunset Vet Kuta as an intern and then joined the vet team full time as a Junior Veterinarian. Her main clinical interest is emergency and critical care medicine. Outside the clinic she enjoys making digital notes, surfing and weightlifting.

Drh. Kevin graduated as a vet from Udayana University in 2023 and then joined GAIA Animal Clinic Surabaya as an inpatient vet. In September 2023 he joined the Sunset Vet Kuta team. He has specials interest in traditional Chinese veterinary medicine and diagnostic imaging. Outside the clinic, he loves to travel and read books.

Drh. Genta graduated from Udayana University Bali in 2021 and joined a small animal clinic in Jakarta where he worked mostly in an isolation room for infectious viral diseases in cats and dogs. He loves all aspects of being small animal practitioner. At the end of October 2023, he moved back to Bali and joined Sunset Vet Kuta as an intern, officially joining the vet team in December 2023.

Drh Bunga graduated from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB University) in December 2023. She joined the Sunset Vet internship program and later the vet team full time in March 2024 as a Junior Veterinarian. During her studies she was a lab assistant in the surgery and radiology division. Her main interests are internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Outside the clinic, she loves traveling and swimming.

Drh. Farah graduated from Airlangga University, Surabaya in January 2025. In her final month before taking the oath she interned at Sunset Vet Ubud, and subsequently joined Sunset Vet Kuta as a Junior Veterinarian. Drh Farah loves all aspects of being a small animal practitioner but the field that excites her the most is emergency and critical care medicine. Besides her love of animals she enjoys reading, writing and cooking.

Drh. Cassie graduated from Bogor Agricultural University in 2024. She joined the Sunset Vet internship program in December 2024 at the Ubud clinic and officially joined Sunset Vet Kuta in January 2025. She enjoys every aspect of being a small animal practitioner and is always striving to provide the best care for each animal. Outside of work, she is an avid martial artist and loves travelling.

Drh. Klara graduated from Airlangga University in January 2025. Prior to joining Sunset Vet Kuta, she worked at Griya Satwa Lestari Clinic in Semarang, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in small animal practice. She began her internship at Sunset Vet Kuta in December 2025 and officially joined the vet team in January 2026. Drh. Klara has clinical interests in internal medicine and surgery and is committed to continually developing her skills to provide high-quality patient care. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys travelling and spending time at the beach.

Drh Agil graduated from Udayana University in 2025, where she was awarded Best Graduate. Following her graduation, she gained short-term clinical experience at Semer Vet Care and completed her clinical internship at Sunset Vet Kuta from December 2025 to January 2026, officially joining the team as a Junior Veterinarian in February 2026. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, radiology, and ornamental fish medicine. Outside the clinic, drh. Agil enjoys hiking, diving, and going to the gym.

Drh. Nasya graduated from IPB University in January 2026. In the final month prior to taking her veterinary oath, she completed an internship at Sunset Vet Kuta and subsequently joined the team as a Junior Veterinarian. During her studies, she gained valuable hands-on experience working as an assistant in the surgery and radiography division. Drh. Nasya's main clinical interests are diagnostic imaging and endocrinology. Outside the clinic, she enjoys singing and watching movies.

Drh. Alvin graduated as the best graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, in December 2025. He completed his internship at Sunset Vet before officially joining the team in April 2026. His clinical training includes experience in companion animal, wildlife, and institutional veterinary medicine through placements at Malang Animal Care, Arsari Orangutan Sanctuary, Dianmalia Vet Clinic, and Indonesian National Police Animal Hospital. His involvement in Rothschildi, Udayana University’s wildlife student interest group, further shaped his professional interest in exotic animal medicine and surgery.

Drh. Raihan graduated cum laude from Gadjah Mada University in January 2026. He then completed an internship at Sunset Vet and officially joined the team in April 2026. During his studies, he served as a laboratory assistant in the Clinical Pathology Division. His primary clinical interests include surgery and clinical pathology. Outside the clinic, Drh. Raihan enjoys jogging, hiking, and going to the gym.

Drh. Chrissyl (‘Sisil’) graduated from Udayana University in February 2026, where she earned her veterinary degree with cum laude honours and received valedictorian status during her studies. Shortly after graduation, she joined Sunset Vet and officially became part of the veterinary team in May 2026. She is curious-minded and loves exploring different areas of small animal medicine - particularly ophthalmology and cardiology - while emphasising patient-centred clinical care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys art and craft-making activities and visiting art exhibitions.

Drh Wulan graduated as a vet from Udayana University in 2008 and went on to work at Anom Clinic in Sanur and Vitapet Clinic in Jakarta, where she developed special interests in surgery and opthalmology. In 2013 she moved to Bali and joined Sunset Vet's Kuta branch. In 2014 she completed an advanced Orthopedic Surgery course in Kuala Lumpur and in 2017 a Neurosurgery course at the same institution. Drh Wulan is the Head Veterinarian at Sunset Vet Ubud.

Drh Raysa received her Bachelor in veterinary medicine from Udayana University in 2013 and her Masters in 2014. In 2015 she joined the Sunset Vet team as a junior veterinarian working at the Ubud branch. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery but has a special interest in clinical pathology and particularly cytology, histopathology and dermatology.

Drh. Estry (known to all as 'Drh. Echy') studied veterinary medicine at Udayana University, graduating in May 2014. Her first job was in Jakarta, working at Laras Satwa Clinic in Tangerang. A year later she followed her heart and moved back to Bali, joining Sunset Vet initially in our Kuta branch before moving to our Ubud clinic's vet team. Drh. Echy has special interests in imaging, clinical pathology and acupuncture.

Drh. Ratih graduated from Udayana University in 2017 and on qualifying as a vet, interned at both Sunset Vet's Kuta and Ubud branches. She subsequently joined the vet team full time at Sunset Vet Ubud. Drh Ratih's main clinical interests are dermatology and internal medicine.

Drh Dina graduated as a vet with honours from Airlangga University, Surabaya in September 2018. During her studies she interned at an Avian Influenza Research Centre for a year, but her love for small animals took her back to small animal veterinary practice. In March 2019, Drh Dina joined the Sunset Vet Ubud team full time and has special interests in internal medicine and clinical pathology. In 2021 she completed her training as a veterinary acupuncturist through the Chi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Florida, US.

Drh Meidy graduated from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) with Distinction in April 2020. During her studies she volunteered in Thailand and worked for an animal health exhibition in Indonesia, realising her passion for a career as a small animal practitioner. Her special interests are internal medicine and clinical pathology.

Drh Azura graduated from Airlangga Veterinary Faculty, Surabaya in 2021 and immediately joined the team at Sunset Vet Ubud, where she had interned as an undergraduate. She also interned at Chulalongkorn small animal hospital in Bangkok and was representative student research speaker at United Graduate Veterinary Science, Yamaguchi, Japan. Her main clinical interests are soft tissue surgery and clinical pathology. Outside the clinic, she is an avid traveller and loves to cook.

Drh. Violeta graduated from Udayana University in 2022 and joined Sunset Vet Ubud as an intern. During her veterinary studies she realised her main interests were in small animal internal medicine and also wildlife & exotic pets. Outside the clinic she enjoys reading a good novel and acoustic music.

Drh Novdesari ('Drh. Ovi') graduated as a vet from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in October 2020 and took her first job at Laras Satwa Clinic, Tangerang. In October 2022 she moved to Bali and joined Sunset Vet Kuta as an intern. She then joined the vet team at Sunset Vet Ubud in February 2023. She is passionate about all aspects of small animal medicine, especially diagnostic imaging.

Drh. Juliantari ('Drh Julia') graduated as a vet from Udayana University in February 2023, having interned at Sunset Vet Kuta. Following graduation she joined the vet team full time at Sunset Vet Ubud. Besides loving animals, she enjoys writing and won third place in her scientific competition at University. Her main clinical interests are internal medicine and dermatology.

Pak Wijaya is a hospitality professional with extensive experience built over many years in the industry, specialising in guest experience, service excellence, and operational quality. His leadership approach is centred on continuous improvement, team collaboration, and achieving long-term goals that position the company as a leading and respected brand in its field.

Ibu Ani studied Accounting at Politeknik Negeri Bali, graduating with an Associate Degree of Accounting in 2004. She then worked at Clubstore for 1 year followed by KSP. Sandhat Lesthari for 11 years, subsequently moving to BPR Jero Anom for 5 years. In Oktober 2024 Ibu Ani joined the admin team of Sunset Vet as HR Manager.

Wiwik studied Economic Accounting at Warmadewa University in Denpasar, graduating in 2017. She subsequently worked in accounting roles at PT Seebali Petualang Sejati, Royal Samaja Villas and Jambuluwuk Oceano Hotel in Seminyak, before joining the Sunset Vet team in 2021.

Made joined Sunset Vet as a receptionist back in 2013 and after several years moved over to the admin team where her responsibilities are purchasing and stock management for both Kuta and Ubud branches.

Nyoman Gede Antaguna is a senior Balinese lawyer and Managing Partner of Antaguna Law Office. With over 15 years experience, he specialises in corporate law, property, civil litigation, anti-defamation and immigration issues. A member of PERADI, Nyoman holds degrees in both law and economics, offering strategic legal advice to local and international clients. Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, he is known for bridging cultural and legal gaps with professionalism and clarity.

After graduating in 2013 Pande started his career in the hospitality industry at a hotel and working on a cruise ship. In 2020 he joined Sunset Vet Kuta as a receptionist, subsequently becoming pet shop manager in 2025
