Vet International Closed…Sunset Vet Opens

Many residents of Bali will be thinking 'what happened to Vet International, why has the clinic changed its name to Sunset Vet?'

There were many factual inaccuracies reported in the media in December 2012, relating to the supposed employment of foreign veterinarians at Vet International. In fact all of the doctors working at Vet International were Indonesian citizens, just as all of the doctors now working at Sunset Vet are Indonesian citizens.

Vet International was built as a 24hr animal hospital, with equipment and facilities befitting of this status. However, due to various reasons, Vet International faced difficulties in the procurement of their animal hospital license.

In light of these difficulties, PT Vet International withdrew their application for an animal hospital license and ceased operations. Subsequently the premises were taken over by PT Surya Satwa Mandiri who opened Sunset Vet, a 'joint practice' of veterinarians using the same talented staff and state of the art facilities.

Sunset Vet offers a high quality 24hr veterinary service to Bali's pet owners in line with international standards, but at competitive local prices. We look forward to welcoming you and your pet to our practice.
